How to Check for Program Updates: Windows & Mac

From time to time, we will release program updates.  These updates can add new features, improve performance, and most importantly fix known problems.  It's important that you are always using the latest version of the program.

You must have an Internet connection to download program updates.  If you do not have an Internet connection, contact your publisher to have them send you updates on CD, or suggest some other means of getting updates to you.

When you start the program, it will automatically use your available Internet connection and check if an update is available.  If no update is available, you will not be disturbed.  However, if an update is available, an alert will show up on your screen.

You can also force the program to check for updates at any time.  To manually check for and download the latest version, go to the Register screen.  From the top pull-down menu, choose Tools and then click on Check for Updates.

Most computers are equipped with a network firewall or other security device or software.  If you are running a firewall (such as Norton Internet Security or ZoneAlarm) or any other Internet blocking software, it is recommended that you allow Yearbooks access to the Internet.  For further assistance connecting to the internet, check your firewall software documentation, or consult your school's technical department.

When you click the check-box labelled "Yes", your computer's internet browser will display a page on our website containing a link to download the update installer.
